DEMO REEL 2022
It’s been a little over a year since I really began to push into developing Powell Film Co. There have been so many fun opportunities, that I wanted to share one year’s worth of different projects, my 2022 Demo Reel! Looking forward to this next season. Huge thank you to all my clients who have trusted me to capture some of the biggest days of their lives!
Shelby County Jail Project
We were able to put together an informational video to help the voters of Shelby County understand the need for a new jail when it comes time to vote on the propositions. Each of the presenters worked off a teleprompter to help them clearly communicate the need with the public. This piece was donated to the county.

“Kia Ora, I’m James”
A Kiwi (New Zealand native sans accent) born to missionary parents and ended up living in rural Northeast Missouri with my wife and five kids. I've been working full time in professional video production since 2007, working at a large multi-faceted ministry. During my time I've had the privilege to create hundreds of TV episodes and travel around the world working with some of the best people and equipment available. So whether it's making a video or designing and installing Audio Visual and Lighting systems, I have the knowledge and experience to make it happen.
Clients include: Shark Tank, Church Motion Graphics, Straight From the Heart, Heartland Ministries, Westside Family Church, Seeds of Hope, Sharpe Land and Cattle, Heartland Creamery, Ozark National Life, Union School District, Shelby County Sheriff Dept. etc.
